Footage of the ex-Wehrmacht 'leFH 18' in Syria, Shelling of the Shia town of Al-Fu'ah, Aug 30, 2015. The 10.5 cm leFH 18 was the standard divisional field howitzer used by the Wehrmacht during the Second World War.

Comment:  Amazing that this is a) still serviceable enough to be used and b) that they have ammo for it (although it could have been rechambered I suppose).

Being a retired artilleryman the thing that stands out to be is how bloody long that firing lanyard is. When on average they are about three feet long, so it may still work but, they don't trust it!
