Comment:  Worth a read I felt.  Touches on the thorny question with GW of value for money....   A topic I've written on in this blog before...

Interesting article. The money aspect of GW is hard to ignore. The endless rules and codex revisions irk me the most. The cost of the models, etc. is steep but certainly on par with the quality of the models themselves.

But again, constantly changing the rules and requiring the purchase of updated codexes speaks more to money than hobby in my mind.

Yes, the only way they can fund the business and all the stores is constant refreshes of the Warhammer and 40K universes it seems. It would be nice to see something completely fresh coming from them.
