Picture Of The Week - No 20 - Wrecked Tank Park
Comment: Just came across this astonishing photo of a wrecked tank park. I can spot:
- Panther
- Tiger II
- T35/85
- Sherman
- SU76
Anything I've missed ?
If I am not mistaken, the turret(white camo) in the foreground is an IS-2. If you look just ahead of the Tiger II I think there is a second Tiger II(the two are facing each other). If you look in front of the panther(right one:right side of picture) in the background, that might be the armor shield of an SU-76.
Fascinating image, what a mix of nationalities in one place!
